Catie Toal

Catie Toal is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. She has been dancing for over 15 years. Catie has danced all over the United States, and more recently has performed in Europe and South Korea. She has a degree in Dance Performance and Choreography, as well as a Pilates certification. Since graduating, she now dances and trains professionally in Los Angeles with personal mentors such as Galen Hooks and Makenzie Dustman.

When she’s not dancing, she is teaching all over the world. Internationally, she’s taught clinics in both Costa Rica and Indonesia. She’s also taught and choreographed for A, Open, and World Class groups throughout the country. She currently teaches and choreographs predominantly at Palm Desert Charter Middle School and Etiwanda High School.

She specializes in choreography and technique for dance, colorguard, winterguard, wind ensembles, marching band, and winter percussion groups. She also assists Michael Rosales for clinics and masterclasses across the country.

Catie’s love and appreciation for color guard largely started in 2012 where she began her first winterguard season. She did winter guard for 5 years before she fell in love with Drum Corps. She then went on to travel with the Cadets in 2015 and The Blue Devils in 2016 and 2017 where she had the honor of winning a DCI World Championship and being a featured soloist for The Blue Devils.

Through this activity Catie has traveled all over the US, danced and choreographed for the judges convention of WGI, and represented The Blue Devils on the Fuse TV show “Clash of the Corps.” She is so honored to be where she is today with all of the help from her mentors and educators. She hopes she can give back to the community the way it has so generously given to her!
