leah rupert

Leah Rupert is a former member of The Alliance of Miami. She has two children, a color guard performer and a percussionist. She spent time reacquainting herself with all facets of our community while working with a costuming company based in Miami. Rupert now spends her off hours as the Vice President of Color Guards for the South Florida Winter Guard Association. Together with her husband of 27 years, she is fifty percent owner of the family business they created more than a decade ago. This affords her the opportunity to invest her time in projects that contribute to the growth and development of the marching arts.

john rankin-williams

John Rankin-Williams was born and raised in Seminole Florida where he was introduced to pageantry at Seminole High. After High school he went on to perform with the Madison Scouts and State Street Review. John went on to be one of the founding directors/designers of the World Class competitor Shaktai Performance Company. He also was a board member for The Florida Federation Of Colorguards and was honored to become one of their Hall Of Fame members in 2014. After moving to South Florida where he now resides John spent 10 years with the program at Marjory Stoneman Douglas which quickly rose to become a world class finalist. Soon after John started the colorguard program at West Broward High School.Most recently John has spent the last 16 years in the pageantry costume industry where he held the role of Director of Sales and Marketing and National Sales Manager. Currently John is self employed which is allowing him more time for family and fun.
